Watercolor Postcards

During the 1960s, Hallmark produced a series of postcards for Disneyland. (Collectors refer to these as PDLs due to the serial number that appears in the stamp box.) In addition to a nice collection of standard views there was also four watercolor cards.

Above is the entrance to Adventureland. There was also a card depicting the entrance to Frontierland and a nice view of the Flower Carton Main St.

I'm still missing the watercolor card of Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Wow. Simply gorgeous.

That would be a fantastic piece of art to hang.

They're excellent cards, I especially like the fluted edges. I'll keep my eyes out for the Sleeping Beauty card.

These watercolor style Hallmark printed postcards can be very hard cards to find they can go for 70-100-200 on ebay, or if you buy them somewhere else you might get them for 2-5-10 dollars, which is why I try to go to postcard shows for the bulk of my older cards! It's also why I don't have a LOT of these.
